The main research areas of the Institute are:

– development and introduction of advanced resource- and energy-saving technologies to the complex processing of agricultural raw materials;

– development and commercialization of industrial technologies (including biotechnologies) for producing novelty food and various-purpose auxiliary materials (aromatizers, stabilizers etc.), special, dietetic-nutrition products;

– medico-biological, toxicological and hygienic studies of food raw materials, food-products, food additives and polymeric materials;

– development and introduction of advanced environment-friendly and energy-saving technologies, as well as systems for checking the environmental safety of industrial production, its conformity to ecological norms and energy standards.

The Institute offers for commercialization:

– studies of current issues and prospects of soybeans processing and rational use of soy products in nutrition and integrated therapy;

– a technology and equipment for producing flour from unadulterated grain;

– a technology and technological line for alternative production of mixed fuels with the use of biosynthetic oxygen-containing components;

– a technology for producing a lysine food additive;

– production of balanced mixed fodders for stock-breeding (a technology and equipment);

– a simplified technology for economical conditioning of vegetable oil;

– production of aromatic food essences (a technology);

– obtaining of food aromatizers through carbondioxyde extraction (a technology);

– hop procession and production of its carbon-dioxide extracts (a technology and equipment);

– obtaining biogas from waste of biosynthetic fuel-component production (a technology).
