At SSI ‘Institute for Single Crystals’:

– chemistry and technology of photo-active organic compounds, chiral and liquid crystalline materials and their components;

At NAS Institute for Single Crystals:

– integrated studies of physical phenomena in optical single crystals, nano-systems and their physico-chemical properties;

– theory of non-linear phenomena, transport and structure formation in condensed matter.

At the Institute for Scintillation Materials:

– fundamental and applied materials studies of scintillation and luminescent media;

– development of technologies for manufacturing scintillation detectors and devices on their basis;

– fundamental research of the interaction between radiation and matter.

At R&D Centre of Immunobiotechnology:

– development and perfection of immune ferment test systems for diagnostics of common human and animal diseases on the basis of state-of-the-art achievements in biotechnology;

– development of reference panels for standardizing laboratory diagnostics of common infections by means of immune-ferment and molecular-genetic research methods;

– development of fast instrument-free immune chromatographic tests for infection diagnostics.

At Research Institute for Micro Devices:

– fundamental and applied stydies of micro-, nano- and optoelectronic structures for producing integrated-circuit, light- pipe and microelectronic devices for special purpose;

– development and application of chips, laser and optoelectronic devices;

– development of diagnostic procedures and physical-and-technical methods for studying semiconductor materials and devices on their basis.
