Research achievements of the international level:

On the basis of geochronological and isotope-geochemical research, auration of metasedimentary rocks of greenstone structures and cratonnal basins of the Middle Dnieper and Near-Azov blocks of the Ukrainian shield was estimated. Surface distribution of the earliest tonalites of the Novopavlivka complex was determined. Concepts concerning original sources of diamonds, genesis of rare-metal mineralization and genetic self-descriptiveness of spectroscopic active centers of minerals were developed. Models of composition and peculiarities of the upper mantle, formation of the mobile form of heavy metals in the soil-solution-plant system were elaborated. New methods for predicting rocks and minerals radiation stability, geochemical prospecting by mobile forms of chemical elements were worked out. «Petrographic Code of Ukraine» was published.

Research results proposed for commercialization:

Development of modified natural sorbents for promoting the environmental stability of technogenic landscapes.

Properties of magnetic mineral inclusions in brain, biomineralization processes in brain and studying the methods of information retrieval and processing by mineral-organic nano-associated systems.

New methods in studying bone demineralization during space flights.

Development of new approaches to retrospective EPR dosimetry in connection with problems caused by the Chornobyl power plant, the Semipalatinsk nuclear testing ground and possible terrorist attacks.
