The main lines of the Center's activities are:
- investigation of the interrelation of atomic-molecular architecture of the electronic structure and the functional behaviour of physically non-linear strucutres;
- investigation of the composition and structure of semiconductor compounds surface by methods of X-ray diffraction microanalysis;
- investigation of the stress-strain state of 3-d bodies and shells under static and dynamic loads;
- study of standardization, certification and metrology issues at NAS of Ukraine;
- development of theoretical fundamentals of industrial waste processing.
The achievements of the international level are:
- efficient methods for solving problems concerning the stress-strain state of 3-d bodies and shells have been developed;
- the far-field structure of X-ray absorption spectra of strontium in disordered metallophosphate systems has been studied.
The Center proposes:
For cooperative upgrading:
- investigation into the processes of structure formation in nanoparticles, fractal structures and nanosystems and development of the theory of nanocrystalline materials formation, with account being taken of their electronic and atomic structure and with a view to their production technology;
For commercialization:
- control over the electrical charasteristics of resistive films (Ni3B + galss) on ceramic substrate Al2O3 by laser irradiation of the 1.06 m wavelength in the energy range 0 – 0.5 J.
