Main areas of activities:

– research into the system structure of the natural language; theoretical, mathematical and applied linguistics;

– forming and running the National Dictionary Base of Ukraine and the Ukrainian national linguistic corpus;

– research into, development and production of lingua-information systems and virtual systems of professional interaction in linguistics and informatics;

– studying the linguistic aspects of intellect and producing intellectual lingua-information artifacts on this basis;

– development, implementation and operation of information systems, bases of data and knowledge of the general cultural nature.

The Lingua-Information Fund proposes for cooperative commercialization:

1. a technology of developing and producing integrated electronic dictionaries (local and on-line);

2. a system for the automatic morphological analysis of the Ukrainian language;

3. technology of fundamental explanatory lexicography;

4. a complex technology of fundamental bilingual and multilingual lexicography.
