The Centre’s research activities are focused on:

– generalization of historical experience, patterns, trends, methodological and social problems of science development in Ukraine in the context of the progress of the world science;

– development of modern science of science, elaboration of organizational, economic and information mechanisms for formation and effective utilization of Ukrainian R&D and innovation potentials, for integration of Ukrainian science into the world and European Research Area;

– analysis of experience in developing academy-type science organization from historical and science-of-science perspective; substantiation of NAS future prospects and the role of NAS in the transition society.

Dobrov academic school in science of science works at the Centre.

The Centre proposes to introduce to social practice monitoring of social and political indicators reflecting the investment attractiveness of region (in the context of the innovation-based development of production sector).
