– issues of demographic policy and human potential development in the region;

– strategic management of industrial enterprises development under transformation conditions.

The scientific school on raising the management efficiency in machine-building, headed by A. M. Zolotaryov, Dr. of Econ, Prof., functions at the Branch.

– Scientific-and-practical recommendations for improving the competitiveness of the machine-building production in Ukraine;

– Scientific-and-practical recommendations for developing the mechanism of strategic control over fixed-capital use at machine-building enterprises;

– Philosophy and methodology of forming the mechanism of industrial enterprises management and their strategic reorganization in rapidly changing environment;

– Scientific-and-practical recommendations for integral estimate of human potential development in the region;

– Scientific-and-practical recommendations for forecasting the amount of employed able-bodied population in the region.
